My passion for travel led to my career in the travel industry beginning in 1985 when I opened Odyssey Travel. From the very beginning it has been a pleasure working with my clients and making their travel experiences something special.
For me, travel is an opportunity to learn about the world and create connections with the people we meet. I especially remember a private visit to the Great Wall of China in the countryside. One of my favorite experiences was to arrange, for our group, to meet local people in a nearby village who escorted us up the wall. We were greeted with champagne, a gourmet lunch and rose petals strewn on the ground. Exploring new and different places while enjoying food and wine are what brings friends together. My prior career was as a Certified Financial Advisor with a prestigious national firm where I designed and managed personal investment portfolios. After living and traveling extensively in Europe, I returned and chose a career to share my lifelong passion for travel.

An Ohio native, Mary started her travel career in Columbus in 2000. By 2006, she opened her own agency. A beach/sun lover at heart, Mary relocated to Florida in 2014. Ben has been passionate about travel since childhood, and it is his lifelong dream to be able to share that passion with others. Always advocating experiential travel, Ben is a strong believer in cultural immersion and pushing beyond “cookie cutter” experiences. Being a traveler is about more than being a passive viewer of one’s immediate surroundings — it’s about forging a deeper understanding of yourself and the world around you. Ben believes that curation and customization is essential. Ellen's 30-year travel career has taken her to more than 80 countries, from exotic locales to European capitals. She hosts cruises about Regent Seven Seas, Silversea, Crystal Cruises and Seabourn. She graduated form Swarthmore College and earned the Certified Travel Counselor (CTC) designation. Ellen is an avid photographer (her photos appear in this e-zine), a great cook and a lover of all things French!
I’ve been traveling all my life. Mostly with my business in PR and advertising. I also, did some broadcast journalism. After a brief retirement, a friend needed help with her corporate travel business handling her leisure business. It was a perfect fit for me with the organizational skills I have and a profound attention to detail(s). I love the adventure side of traveling, having climbed Kilimanjaro, hiked and tented in Kenya and Chile, and countless cruises, road trips and city adventures to add to my list of travel experiences. I am a fundraiser for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and dedicate my time to helping others with travel and charity.
